How to convert secretarial records (in PDF) into machine readable OCR documents

Converting documents into OCR-enabled records will enable the users to retrieve the documents quickly based on keyword search instantly. To know how to use searchability facility, click here.

Step 1: When you log into BLISS, you will land on your portfolio page, as shown below. Click on the company for which you wish to upload the documents.

Step 2: Click on ‘Past Records’.


This feature can be used if the documents are not in machine readable (OCR) format and if the documents are already in OCR format then the features shall be kept in disabled mode before uploading.
Step 3: Select the financial Year for which you wish to upload the PDF documents and Toggle On the OCR button to convert the documents into machine readable documents.

Step 4: Enter the Date, upload the file under respective section and enter Summary Information(if required) and click Upload.

Once the file gets uploaded, it automatically gets converted OCR enabled document. The OCR conversion feature can be disabled on toggling OFF the button.
Users get free OCR credits where they can convert upto 2000 pages. On exhausting these credits, the desired number of additional credits can be purchased from Company Data->Settings page.
